KRAEVEDCHESKIE HOT SPRINGS

They are presented by three groups located at the left side of the Porozhystaya (Vershinskaya) river valley, which flows in 5 km to the north from the Bear tundra.

Only the lowest group is interesting; it is located at the hill slope between the Shaibnaya and the Porozhistaya rivers valleys. The thermal waters have very high mineralization level for Kamchatka; they formed two joined cones with 20 m height. The century-long birches have already grown at the slopes, and wide grounds at the tops of the cones are covered by yellow-red sediment or low grass. The beds of the warm brooks are filled with thermophiles.
