KORYAKSKIE MINERAL SPRINGS

The group of cold (10-15o C) carbonated springs with magnesium carbonate composition and 2 g/l mineralization are located at the bottom of the Koryaksky volcano in the Shumnaya and the Right Nalycheva rivers heads.

The total discharge is more than 30 l/sec. There are ferric hydroxide sediments at the outfall. Almost all the ground is covered by this sediment; the volcanic ashes are also cemented together by the sediment. The water of the springs is delicious and may be used as medicinal and table water.
